Hailing from the Brisbane suburb of Acacia Ridge, the Denning was arguably Australia’s most popular touring coach, being used extensively by private fleets throughout the country. Despite the tyranny of distance and the harsh operating conditions Australia is renowned for, the Australian built Denning Mono Coach can still be seen in service today. The Driver Bus Lines touring coach is representative of the livery from the early eighties which featured extensive exposure of the stainless steel panelling. Fully painted liveries were also popular and the Chalmers Coach is very indicative of this with its bold blue and white colour scheme. |
